PERDANA KOTA BHARU UNVEILING A NEW CHAPTER

KOTA BHARU, Kelantan – Perdana Kota Bharu today marked a significant milestone in its hospitality journey with the unveiling of a six-month refurbishment project. The project is designed to elevate the hotel’s brand standards and reinforce its position as one of Kota Bharu’s premier hospitality destinations.

Managed by Attana Hotels & Resorts, the transformation reflects Perdana’s commitment to delivering contemporary comfort while embracing the unique culture and heritage of the destination of its hotels.

The unveiling ceremony was officiated by Hanizan Hood, Group Chief Investment Officer of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), accompanied by YB Hilmi Abdullah, Kelantan State Local Government, Housing, Health & Environment Exco. The event welcomed approximately 200 guests, including representatives from PNB, VIPs from the Kelantan State Government, Tourism Malaysia, strategic partners, media representatives, and influencers.

Held at the hotel’s newly refreshed lobby, the event commenced with a vibrant Dikir Barat performance, showcasing Kelantan’s rich cultural heritage, followed by a launch ceremony and symbolic helium balloon release to commemorate the hotel’s transformation.

Guests were subsequently invited on an exclusive tour of the revitalised facilities. Key highlights included the redesigned lobby, 189 refurbished guest rooms out of the hotel’s total 272 rooms, and the enhanced Cerana Restaurant, which now accommodates up to 260 guests, an increase from its previous capacity of 180. Special attention was given to the interior design concept, ensuring that elements of Kelantan’s heritage and identity are thoughtfully reflected throughout the guest rooms, restaurant, and lobby spaces.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mohd Iqmal Muslim, Chief Operating Officer of Attana Hotels & Resorts, shared his excitement about the hotel’s transformation.
